- The advantages of the Vacusonic tests are as follows:
- No further environmental pollution can take place as a vacuum, as opposed to pressure, is applied during testing;
- A full report, including all relevant information regarding the site and tank tested, is prepared;
- The sound levels prior to and during the test are recorded and plotted on a graph.
- This can then be compared to subsequent tests;
- The product and water levels are recorded before and after the test to identify any changes in these levels
- A vacuum gauge is used to identify any vacuum loss, which would indicate a leak
- Pressure testing of all above and underground pipelines and the replacement thereof- HDPE, UPP, NUPI, PETROPLAS and steel.
